AIT’s Telecommunications (TC) program in partnership with University of Oulu (UOULU), Finland offers Dual Degree Master Programme in Wireless Communications, giving you leading education in wireless technology as well as two different experiences in Thailand and in Oulu, Finland.
The International Double Degree Master’s Programme
A two-year full-time programme focuses on Wireless Communications Engineering, 1 year at AIT and another 1 year at UOULU.
The programme provides the students with knowledge and skills in fundamentals and applications on advanced 5G wireless communications and beyond, signal processing, estimation and detection techniques, Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI) embedded systems).
The solid foundations provided are further strengthened with students’ exposure to the industry environment and on-going research projects at Centre for Wireless Communications (CWC).

5G and beyond, IoT, Medical and Health ICT, Networking, Radio
Technologies, Specialised Wireless Solutions,
Signal Processing and Optimisation, Secure Virtualised Networks, Radio Frequency Designs, AI based Solutions.
Eligibility and Applications:
Interested applicants wishing to enter the double degree programme must first apply to AIT in Telecommunications Program where the applicants are shortlisted after finishing the first semester in AIT.
The applicants with Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications or related field of study must have cGPA ≥ 2.75 or ≥ 68.75% along with a valid (in the last two years) IELTS score 6.5 (with a minimum of 5.5 per each section). Other equivalent English certificates are also accepted.
The applicants will be considered for the scholarships at AIT as per the applicant’s qualification.
The expenses for joining Dual Degree programme at Finland for one year
- Accommodation cost from 190 to 250 EUR per month.
- Flight ticket 800 EUR
- 25% tuition fees (UOulu) 2,500 EUR
There are possible Master’s thesis scholarships.
At least 2 months internship recommended during the programme.
