OUR ACADEMIC PROGRAMS

Construction, Engineering and Infrastructure Management (CEIM)

The Construction, Engineering and Infrastructure Management (CEIM) field of study prepares students to become effective managers and decision-makers familiar with the modern techniques of construction management, engineering management and infrastructure management. It trains professionals to play a leading role in the international construction industry. It molds students to become active leaders in the infrastructure development and management.

Geotechnical and Earth Resources Engineering (GTE)

The field of study of Geotechnical and Earth Resources Engineering (GTE) offers two major areas of specializations, Geotechnical Engineering (GE) and Geosystem Exploration & Petroleum Geoengineering (GEPG).

Structural Engineering (STE)

STE offers two areas of specialization, (a) Structural Analysis, Mechanics, and Computation, and (b) Structural Design and Materials.

Transportation Engineering (TRE)

The Transportation Engineering field exposes students to the process of alleviating transportation problems. The coursework and research in the area provide advanced knowledge in transportation planning and economics, traffic engineering, and the design of highways/pavements and other transportation facilities. Transportation Engineering students acquire advanced skills concerning the planning, design, operations, maintenance, rehabilitation, performance, and evaluation of transportation systems, including their economic and public policy aspects.

Water Engineering and Management (WEM)

The Water Engineering and Management (WEM) field imparts education and training toward an understanding of the complexity of water use and water resources management problems. It offers a balanced curriculum, which covers both the engineering and management aspects of water resource development. Students are trained to acquire knowledge and hands-on practice in tools and techniques to come up with viable and sustainable solutions within the framework of integrated water resources management at the river basin scale.

WHERE DO OUR GRADUATES FIND JOBS?

Our graduates are serving in key leadership positions regionally and globally in Governments, industries, and businesses, United Nations Organizations, Multilateral banks, renounced consulting firms, civil society, and NGOs. We prepare work-ready graduates familiar with problems and equipped with knowledge and tools to find solutions.
