Dr. Teerapat Sa-nguankotchakorn is currently an Associate Professor at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), School of Engieering and Technology. He was invited as a visiting professor at National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT) in year 2008 and 2012. He was also invited as a visiting researcher at NHK Science and Technology Research Lab in year 2008 and 2009. He has graduated 142 master+4 doctoral graduates from 12 countries under his supervision. 

His main research is in the area of Quality of Service in networks, Wireless Access Networks, High Speed Communication Protocol design, etc.

He also received Certificate of Completion of Director Certification Program (class 148/2011) and Advanced Audit Committee Program (class 14/2014) from Thai Institute of Directors (IOD). Currently, he holds many significant positions in various government organizations as well as listed company in stock exchange of Thailand namely, Board of Directors (Banpu Public Company Limited), Board of Governors (Thai Public Broadcasting Service;ThaiPBS) and Chairman of Audit Committee (ThaiPBS).

In addition to Thai language, he is also fluent in English and Japanese.
