Prof. Dieter Trau, Dean of the AIT School of Engineering and Technology and Director of AIT Entrepreneurship Center, delivered a special remark on August 23 on AIT’s vision and work on bracing for the future of international universities at the closing ceremony of the 2020 Global Smart Education Conference hosted by Beijing Normal University’s Smart Learning Institute. AIT was the only strategic partner in Southeast Asia for the conference and often collaborates with BNU in many different dimensions. The virtual event was supported by the Chinese Ministry of Education, Chinese Academy of Engineering and UNESCO. The three-day program attracted an average of 600,000 online viewers each day.
